STO Wallet mobile application and website · Last updated: 2026-10-27
STO Wallet ("the app") is the early-access wallet for the STO Chain network. By creating an account, installing the app or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms supplement, and are read together with, the STO Chain Terms of Service and the STO Chain Wallet Addendum published at stochain.io.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must not use the service where doing so would break the law that applies to you. You are responsible for knowing whether holding or transferring digital assets is lawful where you live.
You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your sign-in credentials private and never share one-time verification codes with anyone, including anyone claiming to be us. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to your account.
STO Wallet is a custodial wallet. The cryptographic keys for the blockchain addresses created for your account are generated and held by us on your behalf, so that you can use the app without managing keys yourself. This means anyone who gains access to your account can move the assets held at those addresses.
We are not a bank, and assets held through the app are not deposits and are not covered by any deposit guarantee scheme.
Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed once they are broadcast. Check the recipient address, the network and the amount before you confirm. We cannot recover assets sent to a wrong address, to an address on the wrong network, or to a third party who will not return them.
Network fees are set by the relevant blockchain, not by us. Transfers may be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control, such as network congestion or an outage at a node provider.
Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it is being used unlawfully, where we are required to by law, or where keeping it open would put other users at risk. You may close your account at any time; see the deletion process described in our Privacy Policy. Withdraw your assets before closing your account.
The STO Wallet name, logo and the content of the app and this website belong to us or to our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or sell them, or use our name or logo, without our written permission. This does not restrict your rights to the digital assets you hold.
The app relies on third-party services, including blockchain networks, node and price providers, and the app stores that distribute the app. The app and this website may link to other sites, such as stochain.io and stochainscan.io. We are not responsible for the content, services or availability of anything we do not operate.
We aim to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption. We may suspend it for maintenance, or change or withdraw features. The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and we will notify you in the app or by email where the change is significant. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the operator of STO Wallet is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
