STO Wallet mobile application · Last updated: 2026-10-27
STO Wallet ("the app") is the early-access wallet for the STO Chain network. Questions about this policy or about your data can be sent to support@stochain.io. Technical and security matters, including vulnerability reports, go to dev.minhanhcorp@gmail.com.
We collect only what the app needs in order to work:
| Data | Why we hold it |
|---|---|
| Email address | Account identity, sign-in, one-time verification codes, service notices. |
| Phone number (if you register with one) | Account identity and one-time verification codes. |
| Display name and username | Shown inside the app and used to address you. |
| Profile picture (if you upload one) | Shown on your profile. |
| Blockchain wallet addresses | Holding balances and processing transfers you request. |
| Language preference | Showing the app in your language. |
| Sign-in timestamps | Account security and abuse prevention. |
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier from that provider, and nothing else. We do not request access to your contacts, files, calendar, photos or any other data held by those providers. We do not post anything on your behalf.
STO Wallet is a custodial wallet: the cryptographic keys for the blockchain addresses created for your account are generated and stored by us on your behalf, so that you can use the app without managing keys yourself. Anyone with access to your account can move the assets held at those addresses, so keep your sign-in credentials private and do not share one-time codes with anyone.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
We share personal data only with service providers that operate parts of the app on our behalf — such as our hosting provider and the services that deliver our emails and push notifications — and only to the extent they need it to provide that service. We also disclose data where the law requires it.
Blockchain transactions are recorded on a public ledger. Once a transfer is made, the addresses and amounts involved are public and permanent, and are outside our control.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data, except for records we are legally required to retain.
You can request deletion from inside the app, or through our account deletion page at stochainscan.io/en/account-deletion. We confirm the request by email before anything is deleted, and you can cancel it up to the scheduled date.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@stochain.io and we will respond within 30 days.
STO Wallet is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will notify you in the app or by email where the change is significant.
